Amol Wayangankar is a Principal and Founder of Enkon Energy Advisors. Amol Wayangankar has 17 years of market and commercial advisory experience with clients in natural gas, LNG and NGL markets. He has advised numerous energy infrastructure transactions; both domestic and international including asset valuations, commercial due diligence, structuring, contract negotiations, asset/market feasibility to support project developers, lenders, energy companies, and investors, in their project development, financing, A&D and planning efforts. Mr. Wayangankar has expertise in asset due diligence, and market studies in the natural gas upstream and midstream space with experience in upstream target valuations, midstream valuations of gas storage, pipeline, terminals, processing plants, gathering systems and fractionation facilities. Mr. Wayangankar’s LNG market consulting experience includes asset due diligence, market and techno-commercial feasibility studies as well as commercial advisory experience ranging from structuring LNG import/export projects to negotiating LNG agreements and associated downstream pipeline agreements. Mr. Wayangankar is also experienced in analyzing, recommending and implementing fuel procurement plans for independent power plants, industrial facilities and recently NA LNG export projects. In the NGL space, Mr. Wayangankar has led commercial structuring and negotiations on terminal and pipeline agreements with multiple LPG/Ethane export terminals in the US. He has experience in originating, structuring and negotiating long-term ethane/LPG Sale and Purchase Agreement with domestic and international buyers. Sue Neville is a Project Manager with Enkon and brings twenty-five years of oil and gas experience in management, project management, and leadership positions for major pipeline companies, E&P companies, and consulting firms. Ms. Neville’s expertise is in revenue growth, project management, leadership, account management, research and analysis, asset optimization, commercial strategy, and customer relationship building. Ms. Neville gained her experience in prior management and commercial roles at NextEra Energy Resources, Northern Natural Gas Company, Kinder Morgan/NGPL, and Northern Border Pipeline Company. Ms. Neville successfully lead business units for storage, transportation and producer services. Ms. Neville developed, implemented and managed programs for revenue growth, new services, product expansion, capacity optimization, operations improvement, and administrative structure and controls. Ms. Neville has been Project Manager for numerous endeavors including drilling programs, information management systems, and multiple business initiatives. She is currently leading the development of Enkon’s Permian NGL subscription product.
As an Executive Advisor at Enkon, Mark brings a wealth of natural gas marketing experience gained from 35+ years of combined employment at Texon, Atmos Energy Corporation, Woodward Marketing and other gas marketing firms in the U.S. At Texon, Mark was responsible P&L responsibilities for all natural gas operations including storage trading, physical trading, capacity trading, and producer services. Mark was instrumental in growing marketing volumes at Texon and oversaw purchase and sale contract negotiations; coordinating between legal, credit and commercial departments. At Atmos Energy Corporation, Mark was President of the non-regulated operations responsible for all non-regulated operations of the company. During his tenure, annual gas sales increased significantly placing Atmos amongst top 25 marketing companies in the U.S. At Woodward Marketing, Mark was responsible for Gulf Coast and Midcontinent marketing, supply and gas scheduling activities. He spearheaded the acquisition of marketing contracts from two pipeline companies that were interested in exiting the marketing business which added over 100 customers and $600,000 of annual margin that covered the cost of the acquisitions within 1.5 years. Mark also Co-lead the evaluation and negotiation of the acquisition of a marketing company and a 1.6 BCF reservoir storage facility. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from University of Texas at Austin.
Mr. Michael Jessop is an Executive Advisor at Enkon and brings 40+ years of energy experience including accounting, tax, energy supply, procurement management, gas marketing and trading, power plant operations and development, upstream and midstream asset acquisition and divestitures. Michael has extensive hands on experience in developing and growing natural gas marketing groups which he gained at NextEra Energy Resources, Dominion Resources, Amoco Oil, Enron and Manville Corporation. At NextEra, Michael focused on identifying and leading development efforts on acquisition and or divestiture of oil and gas upstream and midstream assets. In his prior role, Michael was responsible for fuel supply, transportation and storage for FPL Energy Power Marketing, Inc. where he managed a team of traders, originators and schedulers and created new and alternative supply and transportation strategies using physical, financial and synthetic products. At Dominion, Michael managed the trading and transportation portfolio for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Market Areas and was instrumental in growing Dominion’s non-regulated gas marketing business. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Colorado State University.
Will Zipf is an experienced energy industry executive with over twenty years of experience in the industry with a broad range of successes throughout different segments, including natural gas transportation, coal, carbon credits, power generation and oil refining. Will has served as Vice President for three companies, including a private equity portfolio company, a FERC-regulated interstate natural gas pipeline, and a clean coal technology company focused on the developing and commercialization of alternative energy technologies. Will also held positions of increasing responsibility with three leading U.S. energy companies and has increased value of both traded positions and physical assets through commercial deal origination, structuring, and portfolio risk management. In 2002, Will was issued his Professional Engineer’s license in mechanical engineering from the state of Minnesota. In 2004 will was certified as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Will holds an MBA from The University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. Will was the manager of the risk analytics group for NRG Energy during a time of great expansion and growth in which he worked with the CEO and CFO, providing them with analysis of the commercial risks and analytical and due diligence support for a $5.8 billion acquisition, an $800 MM in market capitalization /refinancing of forward hedge positions, and a rejection of a hostile take-over bid. Prior to joining Enkon, Will worked at Kindle Energy working with the head of commercial operations to create the risk management policy for the Lightstone, a 5200 MW JV between The Blackstone Group and ArchLight PE firms, established following a $2.2B purchase of power generation assets from AEP.
Alexis Marks is a Market Analyst with Enkon. He has 1+ years of market and commercial advisory experience with clients in the natural gas, LNG, NGL, oil, and electric vehicles markets. She has advised energy infrastructure transactions; including commercial due diligence, fundamentals analysis, and forecasting, asset/market feasibility to support project developers, energy companies, and investors, in their project development, financing, A&D, and planning efforts. Ms. Mark’s LNG market consulting experience includes asset due diligence, market feasibility studies, and commercial advisory experience conducting thorough competitive assessments of 2nd Wave US LNG projects and associated downstream pipeline agreements. She has also supported clients in determining the lowest-cost gas sourcing. Ms. Marks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Sam Houston State University.
Kush Thakkar is an Operations Research Analyst at Enkon with 10+ years of combined experience in power generation, EPC, Compressed Natural Gas, RINS market & project management. Kush has domain knowledge in data mining, operations research, statistics & demand forecast planning. At Enkon, Kush focuses on midstream gas and NGL projects in support of financing, acquisition, and project development. Kush is also assisting in the development of granular well-level production forecasts for various shale plays in the U.S. Prior to joining Enkon, Kush worked with India’s largest private power producer in the capacity of a Senior Engineer to improve processes, turbine data analytics, publish operations & maintenance procedures and implement CMMS. Kush holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat University in India.
Mr. John Hritcko is an Executive Advisor to Enkon and brings 30+ years of LNG contract negotiations, marketing, commercial and project development experience to this engagement. Mr. Hritcko gained his LNG expertise over 30 years of experience in project development and commercial roles at Shell, Wison Offshore & Marine, Columbia Gas System and Tennessee Gas pipeline. His recently led new business development strategy and implementation for Wison’s small-scale, floating LNG solutions in the Americas and actively participated in negotiating commercial LNG agreements. While at Shell, Mr. Hritcko developed strategy, led business/regulatory activities that turned around idle Cove Point gas operation to earn $20 million annually; positioned business to resume LNG import operations; and, initiated Shell’s strategy to access US natural gas markets with equity LNG. Prior to his foray into LNG Mr. Hritcko supported launch of Columbia’s non-regulated energy marketing business by initiating and growing natural gas marketing and sales functions. Mr. Hritcko has published numerous articles, presented at conferences and testified numerous occasions before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and various state regulatory and legislative committees in New York and Connecticut.
